Welcome Address from the President

Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 7th Seoul Symposium on Bone Health in conjunction with the 31th Spring Scientific Congress of Korean Society for Bone and Mineral Research (KSBMR), to be held in May 30- June 1, 2019.

The 7th Seoul Symposium on Bone Health, held last year, has provided not only a venue for exchange of research ideas and outcomes but also a forum for better understanding and communication among scientists interested in osteoporosis.

In the 7th Seoul Symposium on Bone Health, there will be a wide range of scientific programs for both basic and clinical scientists which will discuss the cutting-edge of osteoporosis management as well as the basic knowledge for bone cells on the pathogenesis of osteoporosis. Participants will have the advantage of conversing and debating hot issues with world-famous authorities in bone and mineral research.

Seoul is the capital and the largest metropolis in Korea. It is not only a city of beautiful Han-river and surrounding mountains but also a city of tradition and modern culture. We are sure that everyone will enjoy Seoul’s unique geography and modern landmarks. Above all, late May is a beautiful season of the year in Seoul with colorful spring trees and crisp air.

We extend a warm invitation to you to join us in Seoul, Korea, and are very much looking forward to seeing you and your colleagues in the 6th Seoul Symposium on Bone Health.
